PU-2 Talk Set
The PU-2 Talk Set is designed for providing a full-duplex communication over a single optical fiber.

It can be used for construction, installation, testing and maintenance of optical fiber links when operators are at a remote location from each other and must operatively and communicate continuously.

The PU-2 Talk Set is manufactured in three modifications:
   for the 1310 nm;
   for the 1550 nm;
   for the 1310/1550 nm.

The PU-2 is shipped in a set of two units.

The PU-2 Talk Set and accessories include:
   two talk sets;
   two headsets;
   two power supply units;
   two leather cases;
   two soft bags for carrying and keeping of a talk set.

The use of surface mounting technology in the PU-2 makes it handheld, lightweight, economical and reliable.

The introduction of powerful single-mode semi-conductor laser sources, high-sensitivity receivers allows to extend the dynamic range of the talk set up to 50 dB. With 1550 nm of wavelength, the PU-2 offers long distance voice links up to 200 km.
